--------------------------------------------------------

I don't have too too much to update you guys on, but I can't believe that it's almost the end of October. I think I say this at the end of every month, but since I plan everything so far in advance, I'm already looking at Christmas post ideas! It's sort of unreal and pretty exciting. I can't wait to start putting together holiday looks. But first, I have a really fun collaboration for a Thanksgiving lookbook coming up soon. I'll take you from traveling, to day time feasting, and turkey dinners and what you can wear for all three! (Yes, I'll have forgiving waistbands for these because I'm always one for an extra slice of pumpkin pie.)

Have a wonderful fall weekend everyone!

Baton Rouge is starting to feel some brisk mornings, so the first thing I reached for was my oversized cable knit sweater! There are so many ways to wear a sweater like this, and one idea you might not initially have is layering it over a light dress. It's one way to wear a cable knit sweater without looking completely bundled up, ensuring that you can get double the use out of your knits before the temps drop.

The dress I have on is a spaghetti strap dress from Red Dress Boutique. It's dark florals make it perfect for transitioning into cooler weather. It would also pair well with a denim jacket or a long, solid boyfriend cardigan. I have an affinity for getting double use out of my dresses - I'm always layering a sweater or even a skirt over them to create a completely different look, and this purple floral dress is extremely versatile.

Can you tell that I had fall tailgating in mind when I put this one together? How cute is this waist bag by Hipstsers for Sisters?! I wore it last home football game, and it was the absolute best for a day of tailgating. I was able to eliminate unnecessary items that normally weigh down my purse and stick with the essentials. It can also be worn as a crossbody or shoulder bag as seen in the 4th photo!

9 New Items You Need from NastyGal!

There have been a ton of great, new arrivals from NastyGal lately, so I thought I'd share some of my favorites. Looking forward in fall weather I can't wait to wear midi skirts and boots! I also love their outerwear selections like this black sherpa vest and olive anorak. How cute would that warm vest be on Thanksgiving?! Cute crops and sequins are also thrown in the mix as I start daydreaming about holiday parties!

Working to put together some holiday wishlists and gift idea posts to help you get an early start. There's nothing worse than being stuck without anything to wear to a party or without a gift! Start expecting some days with double the posts, so I can start fitting everything in!

The Power of Pink - Bracelets with a Cause

1

leather wrap bracelet c/o Elaine Turner
(use code APINCHOFLOVELY15 for 15% off everything on the Elaine Turner website!)

The bracelets that I wore in yesterday morning's post deserve a post all of their own. Both of the proceeds of them donate towards a Breast Cancer Awareness fund with every purchase:

The luxury accessories designer is introducing a year-long Breast Cancer Awareness campaign donating a portion of sales to the Cancer Support Community as part of the Elaine Turner Gives initiative from October 2014 to September 2015. CSC is an international non-profit dedicated to providing support, education and hope to people affected by cancer.

Elaine is launching #ETGives with her signature wrap bracelets in black and pink patent leather. The bracelets are also adorned with the custom BCA hardware, in support of breast cancer awareness. T
he popular Bella clutch in black patent leather and her signature pink patent leather are accented with custom BCA hardware in the shape of the signature Breast Cancer Awareness ribbon. The campaign began October 1, 2014 and will run through September 2015. Fifty percent of the profits from the sale of the Bella clutches and wrap bracelets to the Cancer Support Community through September 2015. The campaign applies online and in Elaine Turner stores.

“A portion of proceeds from this BCA Wrap Bracelet were given with love to Cancer Support Community from Elaine Turner on behalf of A Pinch of Lovely.”

Everistta
Everistta has created a limited edition bracelet to support early detection of breast cancer. It's not pink, it's personal. A percentage of sales is donated to Friends for an Earlier Breast Cancer Test. Made from silver filled beads and adorned with gold filled chain, each bracelet is accented with a rhinestone, rose gold and pink quartz gemstone beads. The bracelet is a perfect everyday staple.

I was so touched by Lindsay's story about losing her mother to a six year battle with breast cancer and her mission to create awareness with this bracelet.  To read the full story visit HERE.
